This pretty much sums it up for me: RAAM is a challenge that you have to take head-on, with a strong team. You're constantly problem-solving from the time you sign up (hopefully for months or years before) until you cross the finish line. It stretches who you are as a person.

I'm excited to take this on. I've been planning it for a solid three years. Still, I know that things will come along that are totally unexpected and seemingly out of left field. That's why I've assembled a crew with vast experience racing and crewing ultras.
